Private Messages - limitations?

Hi Admins.

I rarely send PM's on TLF.

I sent one today, got a reply and tried to reply in turn - but it's sitting in the Outbox. I have not hit the overall limit of 50.

Is there some limitation on how soon, or how many in one day, or similar - that one can send?

Regards, Newroad

Did you type your reply in the message field, or the senders field.

I tend to find it much easier to do the latter :(

I seem to recall that they sit in your outbox until the recipient reads it.

Ah, Gersemi.

That may be it. Thanks!

Seems counterintuitive to me, which is probably why I don't naturally recall that behaviour, but now that you note as much it triggers a bell.

This is correct. A PM will stay in your Outbox until it is read by the recipient. Once read, it will be in your Sent Messages.
