I have received an email today from Hargreaves Lansdown announcing a new Offer by Maven Income & Growth VCT. But I can only find a mention to Maven Income & Growth VCT 6 on the HL Website, and the Maven website only mentions the Maven 6 Offer. So I suspect the email is simply a mention of the VCT6 Offer which opened on 9th December. Maybe the Office Party Spirit has affected the usual HL accuracy - or maybe I'm missing something.

The Maven VCT 6 top up offer has just fallen through my letter box - perhaps its all part of a concerted marketing plan.

The Maven letter is quite clear that the MIG6 offer is the only Maven VCT raising funds this season.

p28 of the prospectus spells out the key details; 2.5% mgt fees, performance fee of 20% with no escalating threshold and cost cap of 4.1%.

They are raising up to £8m on a fund of £16m which (see p10) has just raised £14m. At 30 Sept there were only £4m of investments and £12m of cash.

Yes - it certainly looks like Maven 6 is the only offer. But the email from HL had no number 6, so I thought it was advertising a new offer by Maven Income & Growth (i.e. Maven 1). Then when I checked the HL Site, I could see only Maven 6
I certainly would consider Maven 1 to 5 - but Maven 6 was tiny and is growing in great chunks - so it has all the hallmarks of a new start up. I would much prefer investing in a more mature portfolio.
