Hope this is being posted in the correct place, it's relating to stamp duty rather than mortgages.
Has anyone heard of the SDLT relief for multiple dwellings at all? I'm buying a house which comes with 2 small holiday cottages in the grounds & am trying to understand whether this might apply, but I'm struggling to find out any information.
My solicitor told me to contact a tax expert but my accountant said it would be down to the conveyancing solicitor...
I'm trying to understand when it applies, whether it needs to be applied for prior to completion & ideally who is responsible for claiming it.
Many thanks!
