The Brexit board on TMF (http://boards.fool.co.uk/brexit-51924.aspx) was closed prematurely on Wednesday. The reasons given are here: http://boards.fool.co.uk/board-closed-13460224.aspx

All the board's content as at the point of closure seems to be there in the old familiar format, except what were the "Post New", "Post Reply", "Reply Later", "Create Poll" and "Recommend It!" links have been replaced by grey text. "Report this post" still remains, though.

A sign of things to come for the 3 month read-only phase?

Sorry, I don't really understand what you are saying nor the meaning of "15". The TMF Discussion boards are presently functioning if logged-in over there.

Shows the level of "debate" it had got to, when people would try and point score or have the last word, get one final dig in. Disappointed, but not entirely surprised. Hopefully the mods are looking at the best of and getting the warm and fuzzies, as well as deleting the silliness. Amazed that LoST is still open.

May I apologise for the quality of the graphic. I sent a very rough MS Paint edit job to Stooz as an idea. True to form for Mr "let's get it done" Stooz, it went live the dame day. I was hoping he would find a graphic artist to spend a week designing it - by which point it would have been way too late. That's why I like working with him - he gets things done - and I like to think I re-engineer some of the quality

Apologies to clarify, I thought for a second that TMF had a change of heart as some boards it is possible still to post on. Hence I had thought the whole site would close on the 15th of Nov, it hasn't.

I can't post any more over there, so hence me being here. Hope that clears things up.
