P P Arnold still going - on tour soon in UK.
Small Faces pretty decimated = think only drummer Kenny Jones still around.

Caught a snippet of Somewhere Down The Crazy River on the news this morning when the death of Robbie Robertson was announced, I'd never heard it before but thought I'd like to listen to the whole song:

This week, A24 are releasing a digitally restored 40th anniversary cut of the Talking Heads concert Stop Making Sense -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rjMwSTeVeo
It's one of the very best concert films, and contains a number of their great songs delivered with a level of stage production that just gets better and better as the set rolls on.
One of my favourites, from the original 1984 film -
Slippery People (Talking Heads) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8ntWYSXUAk
Turn the volume up - and if that doesn't get your feet stomping on this autumnal Friday night, I'd be checking that pulse...
Cheers,
Itsallaguess

I'm guessing I am not the only lifetime Beatles fan here......
Just listening to the reissued red and blue albums released today. What an outstanding job on these 1960's classics. They sound like you never heard before.
Beatles fans around the world have a whole new experience to listen to. Nearly anyway.

As I and my ears age, most things sound like I've never heard them before. Sadly

Hopping through YouTube, as one does, came across these girls that I saw live some 20 years ago;

The album 'Born' is still one of my faves.

Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no
The Richard Harris version - still wonderful after all these years.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQmZNbVBeIk
Donna Summer also does a good version.

If you don't watch and smile - Peter Gabriel at his best.

PS - Tony Levin - one of the great bass guitarists

Great version of 'I'll only miss her' Johnny Adams with Alvin Red Tyler, here on the tube.
Hadn't heard this for over ten years, came across it last night in the course of playing some tapes I made when Jazz FM had its nightly Dinner Jazz programme, used to tape a lot from there.
