Re: I don't understand

The leave leaders are just expletive deleted with no idea what to do. Never expected to win the referendum. Never had any idea what to do if they did.

Deleted last paragraph.

Re: Chequers goes pop.....

So the truth is out. The main culprits, the three stooges, Boris, Gove and Farrage (I'll have to clean my keyboard after typing that name) had no plan. We 'EU lovers' knew that all along of course. The only 'plan' that these useless vandals have, together with the crafty JR-M, is to crash out of the...

In which case Leave won by a landslide!

Good grief. Is that the best you can do?!

I don't understand

We were told it would be so easy. Why is Brexit falling apart? I mean we were told the EU had more to lose than we do. I'm confused. Time to stock up on tins of beans and bottled water, Euros... ? Beeswax, help me out here, what's gone wrong? I desperately want the remainers' warnings to be wrong. .

Re: BBC scrapping Daily and Sunday Politics shows

Watching the unbalanced Daily Politics show this morning which is totally stuffed with loony lefties it should be scrapped in its present form. I'm watching today's Daily Politics, as it hasn't finished yet, I don't recognise what you claim in any way. Are you saying a balanced programme would excl...

Re: M & M's First Portfolio - Strategy Ideas?

I have a portfolio of about 35 shares. I judge the performance of individual shares by comparison with what the rest have done. In terms of value, my yardstick is the value of the median holding. I set a limit of a multiple of the median value, if a holding exceeds that limit, then I trim it back b...

Re: BBC scrapping Daily and Sunday Politics shows

Yet another example of the diminishing standards and priorities of the BBC. The Daily Politics is an essential source of information and balanced discussion.

Ignorance is in the ascendance. Trump, Brexit, nasty ideas and people are winning.

Re: Boris resigns

So unfortunately, Remainers, when we hard Brexit, remember a mutually profitable compromise was offered by UK and declined by Brussels. Enjoy your delicious cake, cos you are all going to have to eat hard Brexit now for a good long time. And the waitress bringing you the cake was the EU illuminati....

Re: Boris resigns

I can still never understand why anyone that loves this country could ever vote to allow foreign powers to dictate our laws, borders and money which was enshrined in the bill of rights over centuries.. I wouldn't be able to understand that either... Is that what you believe Remainers voted for? Tha...

Re: Boris resigns

Beeswax, so you don't think this is a good deal? What will Boris do now? He's an intelligent chap... Presumably he foresaw all this as part of his long-term plan for leadership, despite unjustly being accused by those 'fearful' personages of this being the 'altruistic' reason he jumped onto the Brex...

Re: The Myth of Remain: "People didn't know what they voted for"

The Remain campaign told the population the Truth. The Leave campaign told the population not to believe the Truth because it was just 'Project Fear'. The Leave campaign told the population a load of lies. This is now indisputable. It is utterly ludicrous to claim that most Brexiteers believed the w...

Yes.

But then I'm an atheist, and we tend to be compassionate rather than religiously dogmatic and uncaring.
