Re: Evaluating a brokers stability

Evaluating a brokers stability

With previous Beaufort Securities and now SVS failing, is anyone re-evaluating their platforms? If so, is there anything anybody would like to share about their platform for or against it's level of stability? What factors are worth considering and where would you find that information? How does SVS...

How to buy Tencent shares

I can see you can buy ADR in Alibaba via NYSE: BABA in USD I had seen a Tencent holdings ADR OTCMKTS: TCEHY. But looking onto this it seems to be "over-the-counter securities" which seems to be a broker-dealer network as opposed to a centralised exchange like the Nasdaq and NYSE "pink...

If you’re comfortable fishing in the Degiro end of the market, have a look at Trading 212. No trading fee’s, no forex fee’s, no charges for an ISA. Difficult to see how they make any money on their share/isa accounts. Is this a fairly recent change? Used to be only limited number of trades, no ISA ...

Re: Business Car Travel - Options

If client pays, just use train and taxis

I used to run a second car, but it just sat on drive as tried keeping mileage down to keep resale price and used trains

Alternatively, hire car, reimbursed mileage 45p/mile more than cover rental normally
