Re: Unilever 3rd quarter highlights

My original intention for my monthly top up for this month on 29/10/19 was to top up my BT.A holdings, who seem to be on the up, whereas ULVR are drifting downwards currently. I might just change my plan and top up the later instead. OK, ULVR are a lower yielding share, but I have more faith in them...

Third quarter highlights; https://www.unilever.com/Images/ir-q3-2019-highlights_tcm244-541203_en.pdf Thanks Ian. Jope is not saying much at this stage but the message is clear enough surely, that they are doing well and on target. As to the Motorcycle boy and others, 'sustainable' as been in Unilev...

Re: Jumping off the Stagecoach (SGC)

As I have mentioned before I don't seem to be the best seller of shares, so I'm looking for some comments and/or advice... In an extended moment of madness (while over-extending for yield) I bought two tranches of Stagecoach (SGC) at 206.8p (Nov-16) and then 214.54p (Jun-17) for an average total co...

Re: A quiet board.

It turns out, that the board has gained back some of its colour lately :) Not so quiet, after a fallow spell. Arb You’re welcome. :D . Thanks to all who’ve taken part in this thread thus far. For me, I’ve decided to stick with my original intention and make a smallish top up of my BT.A holdings nex...

Re: A quiet board.

That's a fine looking HYP teecee90, thanks for sharing it with us. Some of your holdings I've had on board in the past, and have since dropped them, including RMG (lost confidence in them. Debt and threat of strikes), SSE (political risk, although that seems to have fallen of late, and I'm tempted t...

Re: A quiet board.

Good afternoon all. It's been mighty quiet around here of late ... Let's keep this board alive.... I'm tired of being 'flamed' every time I post my HYP. As a result I lurk a lot more than I post these days :( That is a real shame Breelander. I, for one, enjoyed your input. Here’s to seeing more of ...

Re: A quiet board.

The major fly in the ointment is Imperial Brands - I'm ruing investing what I have done so far as my real concern is that when B***** is done and dusted, someone will come in for a cheap bid and I'll be waving good bye to not only a decent slug of income, but also that capital invested and seeing a...

Re: A quiet board.

I'm of the opposite view. The HYP board has always been rather more active than it should have been. It's a boring investment strategy for lazy people. The board ought to reflect that. I do get where you're coming from, and for a supposedly 'hands off' investing system, you'd think that there would...

A quiet board.

Good afternoon all. It's been mighty quiet around here of late, so I thought I'd just ask if anyone would like to put up their HYPs on this board, for all to see, and for us to chat about. I enjoy seeing other HYPs, and learn a little bit more about the HYP system each time. Mine was discussed here ...

Very nice Arb, thanks for sharing. Not surprised 'Arb' is a common word, you're one of the true mainstay, must reads, on this board.
