I should add that I also bought more BLND too, for whatever that’s worth. I’m in no rush to get backup to 30 holdings, so 29 it is, for now at least.

I have just regrettably sold all my Greene King shares. Going have a pause whilst I Pickering about what to do with the cash. I'm never sure what that means but you often say "Each to their own", so why doesn't that catch phrase of yours also apply in this situation? After all, it is very easy to ignore Topics in which one has little interest.

Interesting that Marstons have just risen 8.9% as well! Seems a tad optimistic - are people buying hoping they'll be bought out too? :? Or maybe hoping they'll have less competition if the new owners concentrate on the real estate rather than the brewing. I heard the news on t'wireless last night, ...

Re: BHP dividend declaration - big increase

Thank you Mike. I hold these alongside Rio Tinto in my HYP. Both are fully weighted in capital value terms, and I'm unlikely to top up either, although the Greene King dosh has to go somewhere lol. I've taken the liberty to put the results over on the company reports board too.

Readers should be aware that if this daft idea goes ahead, it will have nothing to do with me or HYP4 as it would have developed had I continued to run it and I find it a really silly and pointless project. The most sensible comment in this thread imho. Thanks for your input Stephen. I was surprise...

HYP looking good OLTB. I intend buying some more HSBA soon, maybe LGEN too.

Well said Itsallaguess. I couldn’t have put it better, and as I’m not into finite HYP management, and believe in each to their own, with respect to Wizard, I wasn’t going to even bother rising to his bait anyway.
