Re: fibreglass balcony problem

I appreciate the use of a gel coat for the finish on boats and cars, especially straight from the mould , but do you think it would be necessary if the next stage was laying tiles on top with tile adhesive? Obviously if the basic resin and fibreglass layer is capable of absorbing moisture then ther...

Re: Mark Field

The woman in question has been protesting for 22 years so I doubt this is the first time she has been ejected from a building. Why a 38 year old woman chooses to hang around with mainly a bunch of kids and act like a teenager a la rent a mob is beyond me but I suppose in today's World you can trespa...

Re: Brecon and Radnorshire by-election after Tory MP recalled

I doubt whether the BREXIT Party would stand much of a chance in Brecon and Radnor as it is a farming area and likely to be pro remain. I believe the Liberal Party held the seat for many years.

He is toast in the current climate. What will not get asked is what were the security for the event doing to allow protestors to get in? Is that the current climate where MPs live under constant threat and where terrorism is not uncommon. Apparently the security people did eject some but a group go...

Resin spread over a fibreglass matt. All this on top of chipboards.

Shouldn't really use chipboard as it decomposes. Plywood is far better.

Re: fibreglass balcony problem

Having a decent slope on a fibreglas roof is not that essential. After all the surface is like a boat and should be waterproof. Could you not re apply the tiles with the correct adhesive. I used this on my fibreglas roof which is suitable for composite type tiles but its use must depend on the type ...

Re: Motor Insurance No Claims Discount

When I had my first collision in 40 years (logged as a no fault accident) I was informed my protected no claims bonus was to protect the bonus and not the premium. Obvious when you think about it but it explained why my premium rose sharply following the accident. On a separate issue, on several occ...

The OP's best bet is to avoid an airline that either owns such an aircraft or has one on order. The list of airlines falling into these categories is on the list below:

Re: Can this chair delivery fit into my home?

Don't worry about it. The delivery people will be experienced in getting chairs through doors as they probably make many such deliveries a day. A couple of weeks ago I had two reclining chairs delivered and they got them in through a standard door opening with ease. I also had a corner sofa removed;...

Re: locked out of nissan qashqai

I had a Ford Sierra that would lock with the keys in the ignition. The remedy is easy - don't leave the key in situ and always carry a spare. The so called fault might not be a fault at all although I sympathise with the OP's horrific experience. It might be worth the OP posting on the Nissan Qashqa...

Any Spanish in the crowd must have wondered how on earth these two teams managed to get into the final. It was one of the poorest games seen on TV for a long while.

Re: How should a Leaver who does not want no deal vote next week?

There is no answer to the original question. Vote Conservative and you will get indecision; vote Labour which claims to be a democratic Party with policies determined by their Conference and is now seemingly ignoring the wishes of its members. Vote for the BREXIT Party and you will have a Party supp...

I think the OP needs to investigate the reason why so much debt has been accumulated. If there is an underlying issue that needs to be tackled first.

No doubt if people who vote for a Remain Party and there is huge support for the Brexit Party no doubt some posters on here will find reasons to dismiss the fact that there is huge support for leaving the EU. The EU elections will in some sense become a second referendum so let's see what happens. ...

Re: Serious Question - who do I vote for?

They have a clear message ... ignore the democratic will of the people. How is having another referendum (a confirmatory one) ignoriong the democratic will of the people. Jacob Rees Mogg said before the referendum (a few years before) that this was a sensible thing to do (to have two referenda). Be...
