Re: Forecast Dividend error

I am now thoroughly confused. For some of my ITs (e.g. CTY, MYI, HFEL) HYPTUSS returns a yield figure in red, giving a latest yield. For a couple (FCIT, LWDB) it shows n/a. This in itself is not an issue, but then this messes up the suggested top up priorities for everything. So I wind up manually ...

Unfortunately, FCIT and LWDB aren't showing Latest Yield either. :(

Re: Forecast Dividend error

Hi, I am getting the same for F&C Investment Trust (FCIT) and Law Debenture (LWDB) which are not returning forecast yields tuk020 If you click on the button "Open DL Site", you will see that there is no data for Forecast Yields for these shares on the Digital Look (Webfg) site. I can ...

Re: I blame Brexit

I can't go to Weatherspoons. I object to the sticky carpets, dated decor, the dreadful food, the mediocre 'service', the fact you have to go and place your own order, lack of atmosphere, the clientele. But, more than any of that, I object to their vile owner and his Brexit coasters and leaflets! Me...

Re: Diane Abbott blames Fiona Bruce . . .

As to the actual program, Abbott was clearly interrupted by Bruce significantly more than anyone else on the panel I wouldn't argue with that, but I do feel Diane Abbott brought much of that on herself by persistently and repeatedly just quoting Labour policy rather than directly answering a questi...

Re: HYPTUSS - introduction of portfolio-review 'Overview' sheet?

Yes, I had noticed that there were delays built in to some macros, as you say to ensure that web data is retrieved successfully I guess this particulary goes for yield? But aren't the built in delays less on the simple price scrape spreadsheet? Am I correct to think length of required delays might ...

Re: HYPTUSS - introduction of portfolio-review 'Overview' sheet?

I've just updated my Hyptuss after a long absence and SLA is tripping me up and I have recently added European Assets Trust EAT and cant seem to find them on the list. Re: New Mattress

My wife bought a good-quality memory foam mattress topper around 10-15 years ago and it lasted just a few nights. We hated it, very hot and sweaty. My mum has a memory-foam bed in a spare bedroom which we use when we visit, but we also find that quite warm and don't think it is comfortable. It's a v...

Re: Meaningful Vote - Poll

Out of interest, the 1979 Scottish Devolution Referendum required a majority of votes cast and a threshold (40%) of the registered electorate. On the latter measure, Leaving EU would not have been carried. I think that's an eminently sensible way to qualify the result of such an important national ...

Re: BREXIT

Personally I think the route forwards now is fairly clear. Parliament should spend the rest of this month trying to agree a consensus on a form of Brexit. I think it would be far easier to try herding 650 cats. I cannot envisage any potential solution which does not have a majority against it. And ...

Another U.S. state-themed lineup, but this time the Lone Star State is the focus. Texas has produced an amazing variety of music over the years, this just scratches the surface. Also from Texas.... Re: HYPTUSS - introduction of portfolio-review 'Overview' sheet?

If I try to think wider and come up with ideas for embellishments, the main thing I come up with is to freeze the overview snapshot, so that another can be compared with it a year later. However, this feels like it might be quite a lot of complication. An interesting idea which might not be too com...

Year 2000

We've all heard about the Year 2000 problem, when electronic systems might have failed without corrective intervention by software geeks.
