Re: Digital Look Additions Request

I've updated the "digital look data sheet.txt" at: http://lemonfoolfinancialsoftware.weebl ... op-up.html and it will be included in future releases of HYPTUSS.

HYPTUSS is UK-listed only, so STOR could not be added

I'll add them in later, but you can do it yourself. See pages 9/10 of the User Guide

Re: Aren't we clever?

I agree it's just(!) simply applying Newton's laws of motion, but even so, navigating to a small (and moving) point in space 180m miles away and then going into orbit is pretty clever.

Aren't we clever?

'We', meaning mankind. There's a wee asteroid just 1km across, hurtling through space at a zillion miles an hour, about 180 million miles from earth, and the japanese sent a spacecraft to meet up with it, put it into orbit around the asteroid, then reduced the orbit to a height of around 60m, and th...

I once found a scorpion-type thing in the bed in a hotel in Texas. It scurried away but I don't know where. Not a good night's sleep!

Re: I didn't like the result. Let's do it again

I think another in/out referendum could be disastrous, but for different reasons.... The vote was very close. 52:48. And it would seem from various polls that there has been no big change since then. 50:50 plus or minus a few percent either way. If another referendum were to be held and voted to sta...

Is there any correlation between those who incorrectly use the apostrophe and those who say bregzit instead of breksit?

New HYPTUSS versions 11.55 and b-i-1

A few days ago, a problem was reported with two shares (QLT and IPU): https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13717 so new versions of the HYPTUSS have been released. The problems only affect these two shares, so most users will not need to upgrade their HYPTUSS, there is no overall cha...

Re: In praise of the HYPochondriac Board

There used to be a 'HYPTUSS' spreadsheet that helped you find and track candidates, it included a stock-screener, with hurdles vs metrics. It used to be quite widely followed, giving direction, but I haven't seen it mentioned in recent memory. But presumably someone input sift metrics into it, base...

Re: Colour Printers

I've had a couple of HP inkjets and not impressed. Mechanically, they sounded rather clunky and the software seemed quite crude. The last one packed up after a couple of years with a wifi fault. Had a Canon inkjet for the past 5-6 years and it seems much more refined and has been faultless. Never ha...

10 years ago today....

Richard Wright died. Pink Floyd were mainly known for the guitar playing of Dave Gilmour, and the songwriting of Roger Walters, but in my view it was the keyboards of Richard Wright which defined the Pink Floyd sound, the glue which held it all together, the foundation which supported the other musi...

Re: Passport renewal

Thanks, swill. Mine expired quite a while ago. (I didn't renew it then because at that time there was no possibility of my travelling anywhere.) I trust this won't create any problems? My wife recently renewed her passport. The old one expired in 2012. We took a photo on our camera, submitted it on...

Let's face it, there was no way they were going to say "It's a fair cop guv, we did it"

And with the evidence we have been presented with, I can't envisage any plausible explanation. For sure, they couldn't give a toss

I just remembered that of course we have IE on our PCs at work, so I tried that and the arrow is there. Not sure how that information helps other than it's a Chrome issue. Re: HYPTUSS and dividenddata problems?

That's a pity, Raptor. I have a laptop with dual-boot Vista/Linux Mint so I'll have a look at that, though it's several years since I used it with Vista and I know it takes 20 minutes :( or so to boot into Vista (Mint is fully up and running within 60s). --kiloran That was a bad idea! Re: Up arrow

I just had a flash of inspiration, which may or may not be helpful.

Which board style are you using? (User Control Panel / Board Preferences / Edit Global Settings / Board Style)

I use Prosilver and it works fine. BUT..... if I change the board style to BBOOTS, the up arrow disappears
