Provide a list of GBP Corporate bond prices

Provide a list GBP Corporate bond prices so investors can see at a glance the current prices and yields. There was a good one on the old fixedincomeinvestor web site and you could view by choosing the column you were interest in

Yes, there was.

But, even when Mark's site was still live, the live pricing was broken. I believe the problem is sometimes referred to as Link Decay.

One could perhaps create a communal list, but I suspect the live pricing might be a time sponge.

Not really interested in live pricing. Daily prices would suffice. A list of all GBP corporate bonds with the ability to re-order the list for yield, price and name. The old site list also had a chart available for each bond

Don't suppose it would be impossible to automate (providing the source information is not subject to copyright) but there would be some initial programming effort required I imagine. Then some maintenance to ensure it keeps working. Not too sure how far up this would/will be on stooz's to-do list. I'll be interested to see what is said. C.

I don't know anything about corporate bonds, but it is fairly easy to pull data from Hargreaves Lansdown into Google Sheets, for example:

According to Google:

Importhml automatically checks for updates every hour while the document is open, even if the formula and sheet don’t change.

Google sheets have a 'widget' that provides a user-defined update frequency, such as every 1 minute, if needed.

The same formula with different URLs:

https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/corporate-b ... nked-gilts
https://www.hl.co.uk/shares/corporate-b ... and-others

Should produce similar output for gilts, index-linked gilts and PIBS.

Yes but if you wanted to provide this functionality on a site such as this (which the OP appears to be requesting) you would need the consent, and likely pay, HL to do so, or face legal implications. Limited personal use is another matter.

Indeed, I'm not quite ignorant enough to misunderstand the legal implications. I'm merely suggesting an alternative to publishing the data here which seems implausible for a number of reasons.
