£50 this month for me, and it's gone towards paying for an inflatable kayak...

I will no doubt recall this grim period of enforced lock-down every time I eventually manage to get out in it....

Cheers,

Itsallaguess

£100 on a current holding of £46,000. £100 is also our average for the first 4 months of the year, so approximately double the expected return.

I'm sure things will even out over time...

Scott.

Whatever floats your boat, as they say. Could be useful when we are all under water.

Just had a gander - 2 x £25 on the full 50K holding.

that's pay for last and this weekend's beer deliveries from local breweries! And a bit extra too (I share 10 litres with my son in a bag-in-box)

Hello Ditto,

My final tax year figures now available (full holding all through):

2019-20 £650
2018-19 £700
2017-18 £425
2016-17 £600

Scott or others will remind us that the Annual prize fund interest rate is reducing to 1.30% wef 1 May 2020.

Glad to see some additional humour on this thread.

Until next month,
PD

As usual nothing on £23000 despite me adding a further £5000 for this month's draw. I'm a sucker for punishment.

Just believe in the law of averages. My wife's £50k has yielded £50 every month for the past 6 months, except for one month of £75. Very much par for the course.

I can't say ditto this time as my total was only £575 but that's the best year I have had for some time. Not a brilliant return on £50k but in view of the dearth of dividends it is gratefully received.

BREAKING NEWS: It's not reducing in May.

Nice to hear even a tiny bit of good news for a change, especially as I've just heard that my Newcastle Bldg. Soc. cash isa, which started at 5% for 5 years some years ago is being reduced to 0. 25% from May 1. I shall be having that out pdq. and using it to pay my bills now that dividends have mostly dried up.

I didn't read in NS&I's own announcement that they would go back to RPI rather than CPI so far as the index-linked certs. are concerned, i.e. renewals. We are bound to get less than previously, I should think.

2 x £25 for our £46K holding this month, pretty much the expected return.

One measly £25. Hardly worth drum roll.

1 x £25 on £23k holding. Not great but as I've not won anything for months it's good to see my bonds are at least delivering something which can't be said for my shares at the moment.

Thanks for the reminder Scott.

A good start to the (non) Tax Year. 4 x £25 on a full holding.

Downhill from here, obviously.
