It looks as though the December RPI figure is 2.7% and CPI 2%. That's quite a bit less than was added to one maturing earlier in the year (I see it was 4.11% last December) and will make a significant difference when CPI is introduced if one has a large no. of certificates. I still don't relate that drop in inflation to my own expenses. However, I expect I shall renew this for 5 years and possibly let others lapse on maturity, depending on what happens to rates in the future.
