This poll is trying to gauge how Premium Bond holders feel about the size and frequency of prizes, and if they have a preference for more smaller prizes with fewer massive prizes, or the other way around, or if they have no preference at all.

I have five bonds... that's £5... held since the 50s.
One day my win will come.

I have £7's worth of bonds from around 1960 or 1961.
I have won £25 twice and £50 once. Someone smarter than me can work out my RofR and whether it has beaten inflation over 60-odd years.
You should have gone with two more!

Only 10% of the prize fund goes into high value prizes at present, so it does not materially reduce your chances of a modest prize.

Re: Premium Bond holder poll - preference for size and number of prizes?
I think the current mix is about right. I do invest in Premium Bonds for a theoretical chance of winning a bigger prize (FIL won £10K from a £50K holding a couple of months ago, very nice, he treated the family to a few days in a nice hotel), but like to win smaller prizes fairly often so I'm not losing too much interest. I see it as a way of 'doing' the lottery without losing my stake, just the cost of lost interest.
