It does not make a lot of sense for me to move from Santander, after joining them when they were Abbey National Building Society 30+ years ago, but Metro Bank is interesting:

I like the concept of a customer focused bank that offers old fashioned service at a modest additional cost. The local shop seems to have plenty of staff and not many customers, which does not look too healthy. They have a rocky financial history too:

If you want a bank account with them you can just turn up with some ID and they will open an account for you while you wait. They are open 7 days a week and dog friendly but they don't offer anything competitive in the savings market.
