seems like some of these cheap providers, who neglect their legal obligation to notify six weeks before the fix ends, are playing into the hands of LBYM community. I doubt anyone else can match the current deal we are still on from 2017, as prices have risen since
I have, with 20 days remaining , heard nothing advising me of what happens next or the best tariffs they can offer. No problem as the good deal I am on now surely continues, at this default rate for at least another 6/7 weeks beyond the date the may eventually inform me.
looks like poor customer service has its uses

I wouldn't count on it. If they've failed to notify you that the fixed term is ending they may fail to inform you of your new rate and just impose it.
You'll then be in for a hell of a fight to get your money back.

rest assured that when you contact them to object to whatever they do to you, you will be told that the person who 'did ' that (or caused it) was wrong and is no longer available. call centre!!
