for all those on Sim only contract , three have just announced that prices will be going up by 2.5% in May . ........

however if you look to take out a new one year contract for exactly the same package as you have now, its often cheaper than what you were paying , and you don't get a price rise till May 2020 - If id stuck with my old package of unlimited calls , unlimited texts and 4GB data , the present price of £12 would of gone up to £12.30 , by signing up for another year , its gone down to £11 for exactly the same package

Any sensible company would do the same.

Anyway, were you aware new customers can get 8GB with unlimited calls and texts from Three for only £10 a month (plus £45 cashback) if they went through Quidco? So £75 for the year rather than the £132 for your (cheap) contract - almost half the price!

Now that is treating new customers better than existing.
