Aldi do some knock offs that are very good.
Nothing special about le crueset. They are just cast iron with an enamel finish. They now sell at crazy prices imho.

This being LBYM, it may be worth remembering that the OP seems to have paid nothing for this particular Le Creuset dish (other than using some bicarb, biological washing powder and la huile de coude).
Our most recent Le Creuset dish came from a charity shop. I think it was slightly overpriced at a tenner.
