For those of you who use CamelCamelCamel to monitor prices on Amazon, I've had an alert set up for a few weeks, and when I looked at it yesterday, it said
in response to the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon has asked us to stop updating products in Europe until further notice. Stay safe out there.

I was tracking the price of a cordless hedge trimmer, normally £59.99, but set an alert at £55. I looked at the Amazon page last night and found the price was now £51.20, so I was not alerted by CCC. Anyway, ordered it with free delivery, for 16Apr20, and today got an email to say it's on the way to arrive on 07Apr20.

So, after all that bumbling preamble, don't rely on CCC for the moment

We have also seen proof that almost everything is out of stock in places like Spain and Italy: our sites in those countries appeared broken for much of the last week,

Camel's or Amazon's? Never heard of Camel, but here in Lombardia, Amazon and the PO are still working very well. I'd love to see that proof. Nothing is broken.

From the CamelCamelCamel front page :-

"In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Amazon has asked us to stop updating products in Europe until further notice. Stay safe out there."

More details.

All perfectly reasonable under the current circumstances.

Keepa seems to be working just fine. Their Amazon price chart plug-in is very handy.

Amazon is a minefield for pricing at the moment.
