You mention buying Vodafone, but want to wait for the full year accounts to see if there is going to be dividend cut (you thought not). I'm afraid your too late they have already said they are cutting it to 4.5p next year.

FY24 total ordinary dividend expected to be maintained at 9.0c per share and ordinary dividend to be rebased to 4.5c per share from FY25 onwards;

And, VOD have been flat since the last cut in 5 years ago so no history of increasing income. But that's irrelevant as Ian's buying Phoenix, if I was in the market for a new pick and wasn't a bit heavy in insurance and general financials 10% yield 14 years of increasing dividends looks worth a sniff. Ah I see 5 years of rising yield too.

Thanks, i must have missed that. I had already decided to await the full year results, so did not investigate further.

Enjoy!

This "virtual" portfolio has bought two small lots of Phoenix Group Holdings (PHNX) at yields of 11.12% - October 2023 - and 10.55% - February 2024

It would appear that the yield has decreased in recent months.

Enjoy!

I hold PHNX, and have topped up my holdings twice recently.

With regards to the yield from PHNX, dividendata have them at 10.17%.

If you calculate the yield using an up-to-date market price, you will find it is currently around 10.35%

Enjoy!
