Another £3.3m gone.....

The original kitty from which the share buy-backs and the interim dividend were to be funded was almost £139m, or £1.02 per share.

Of the £139m, close to £60m has been 'invested' in share buy-backs, resulting in a dividend of under 59p per share. I think that the rules under which the current scheme operates allows the Board some discretion to increase the dividend/purchase kitty above £139m, but such an increase is not mandatory.

Anyway, we will find out on Thursday 22nd, when the value of the interim dividend is due to be announced.
