The Directors of the Company are pleased to announce that an interim dividend of 56.75 pence per share will be paid on 23 March 2018 to shareholders on the Company's register of members at close of business on 2 March 2018. The ex-dividend date is 1 March 2018.
The final dividend for the year to 30 April will be 103.44p/share, less any share buy-backs which are executed between now and the dividend announcement, which is scheduled for some time in August 2018. Last year's dividend declaration RNS was issued on 17th August, so I would imagine that the 2018 RNS will follow the same pattern.
Presumably, DL and Morningstar will be revising their 2018 dividend forecasts downwards. DL currently shows 181.27p for the year, implying a 124.52p final, and Morningstar has 201.78p, giving a 145.03p final.

Re: Berkeley Group - interim dividend declaration
It is all so miserable. Other holdings, by and large, nudge my dividend income upwards and Berkeley Group undo all those incremental gains and then some. I wish I'd never invested in them.Davidsb wrote:Presumably, DL and Morningstar will be revising their 2018 dividend forecasts downwards. Re: Berkeley Group - interim dividend declaration
Share buybacks incurr no tax so are a great way to reward unsheltered shareholders who might otherwise be hit by HMRC. I approve, just wish they could buy more!
