Stagecoach Trading Statement

#128193

Postby idpickering » March 27th, 2018, 7:09 am

Stagecoach Group plc is today (27 March 2018) providing a trading update in respect of its financial year ending 28 April 2018, ahead of a series of meetings with analysts. Our expectation of the Group's adjusted earnings per share for the year ending 28 April 2018 has not changed from when we announced our interim results in December 2017.

Share price back to little more than it was in 1995. I hold, unfortunately, and wonder whether it's time to get rid.

I hold, and I regularly use their buses (and more rarely, trains).

Obviously disappointed by the sinking share price on an asset I hold. But I see no reason to dispose of them. Maybe I might top up at a low price?

BTW, where do you get the 1995 price?

I put share price history into my browser and got this:

Click on max.

Do you think it's incorrect? Bing sometimes gets things wrong.

Looks like the share price ranges 42p to 69p approx in1995. It did hit a low of ~13p in 2002 by the look of it.

Complicated by 3 share consolidations over the years in 2005, 2007 and 2012 plus special dividends.

Yes, I noticed that when looking at my share history yesterday; a good enough reason, perhaps, to hold my certificated holding till I die, rather than have to do the complex sums for HMRC. I don't understand what the point of all that was. My holding is now worth peanuts and I didn't need my money back.
