Interserve
I noticed that IRV share price is showing a 14% rise today ( still a long way to go!). Anyone have a view as to why this might be?

Re: Interserve
No idea, Mon, but thankful for small mercies, though 14% of next to nothing still doesn't amount to very much. Will keep my eyes open.

Re: Interserve
Oh good! So I am only losing 83.86% of a reasonably large holding now. Terrific. Perhaps a takeover for peanuts is in the wind but the smell is not very pleasing!

Re: Interserve
Well, that's another one I screwed up on - the price is now above my "bale out" price.

Don't beat yourself up too much Arb, looks like yesterday's euphoria was a bit overdone - down a bit over 7% as I write.
Makes you wonder though - such large movements in the price suggests somebody, somewhere, thinks they have an edge - surely not a leaky set of results being exploited? Sometimes I think the market really needs a good cleanup...

Re: Interserve
A nice sweetener for the facility providers:
the Company will be issuing warrants to the providers of the new cash and bonding facilities with the right to subscribe for new shares at 10 pence per share (the nominal price of each share). If exercised this would provide the warrant holders with an interest of up to 20% of the post-issue share capital.
Whilst dilutive for existing holders, needs must.

When it comes to dilution, my holding in IRV is already at homeopathic levels!

Re: Interserve
More bad news for IRV.
"Interserve Plc (the "Company") has received a formal notice that it has been referred to the Enforcement Division of the Financial Conduct Authority for investigation in connection with the Company's handling of inside information and its market disclosures in relation to its exited energy from waste business during the period from 15 July 2016 to 20 February 2017."

Oh those halcyon days, late April 18....

Hopefully, Mr Ringrose will be feeling hot under the collar ( no escape at Syrinix!) It's about time these CEOs were REALLY taken to task.

Re: Interserve
FWIW I see in the FT that on Apr. 30th the CEO bought 56,364 shares (£59,688) and the CFO bought 30,000 (£28,125).
