Re: Tullett Prebon final dividend
I had my corporate action message from my broker regarding the deal with ICAP today. Currently, I have ICAP shares but not Tullett Prebon (TLPR), but it seems I will now have a dose of both.
AIUI, ICAP will become NEX, my ICAP shares will become NEX shares, and I will be issued with some TLPR shares as well before the end of the year.
I am not sure how many shares I will actually get, butit looks like I will end up with a rather small holding of TLPR, which yields a bit less than ICAP currently. Both companies seem to have had a rather static dividend history over the last few years.
All this will be inconvenient to my HYP, and may lose me HYP income.
Are there any upsides I have not yet taken on board?

Corporate activity can be a pain in the neck. I sympathise. But I can't answer your question as I am not a holder of ICAP. I have been fortunate in buying TLPR back in 2014, when it was unloved and offering a yield of 6.8%.
