I have posted a question on the Taxes board, relating to the tax treatment of the recent "Return of capital" paid out by Aberdeen Standard Life, and would welcome reassurance that it can be treated as a return of capital and not dividend income, for the purposes of calculating my investment dividend income for the current tax year..
