Thank you for feeding my confirmation bias needs. I bought SGE at about 250p in 2012, thinking the yield would rise. It has, but so has the SP, so it has never been in the top half of my portfolio's yielders. Maybe it never will be, but if they stick to their knitting they will either end up sitting on a huge pile of cash or a larger player is going to buy them. I think I would only sell if they started on a major acquisition trail.

Sage has paid it's dividends for this calendar year, and yields 2.1% < 0.5x my benchmark CTY 4.3% tonight, so now might be an opportune time to "upcycle".
