Saga plc ("Saga" or "the Group"), the UK's specialist in products and services for life after 50, provides the following update on trading covering the period from 1 August 2018 to 15 January 2019.

● The Group has continued to trade in line with our expectations during the period.
● Insurance reflects the ongoing pressure on broking profitability offset by another strong result in underwriting, continuing the trend seen in the first half results.
● Travel performing well with good progress on cruise bookings.
● Possibilities, our fast-growing membership scheme, now has more than one million members.

Notice of results

On 4 April 2019, Saga will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 January 2019 and an update on strategy.

This was a fairly high profile IPO back in 2014. That price was 185, but it went nowhere. The price now is a little above 100.

It has a high dividend yield, reflecting the low price of the shares.
