One I have held since 2002....

Subsequent to 30 June 2019, the directors declared an interim dividend of 7.5p (30 June 2018: 7.3p) per ordinary share amounting to a total of £77m (2018: £75m). The proposed dividend will be paid on 11 October 2019...

I've not held for quite that long but I've experienced an erratic income from them. I see in 2000 they were giving 94p per share, since then it's been as low as 2p in 2014, spend much time around 20/30p but climbed to 40p before falling back again, the past 5 years the income has been moving in the right direction. I also hold Aviva and they've shown a similarly up and down distribution of income.

Those numbers might have been queered by corporate actions as there have been a few over that time period.
