After watching a (very good indeed) trailer for the next Top Gun movie I kept thinking about this: -

Happy days! But it also got me thinking about the high yield 'danger zone' of HYP constituents. Approximately half of my portfolio holdings are currently in what could be considered the ‘danger zone’ of 'high' yield territory: -
IMB 10.10%
DLG 9.40%
RIO 9.30%
BT-A 8.20%
ITV 7.40%
BDEV 7.30%
LGEN 7.20%
PHNX 7.10%
Of these I consider only ITV and possibly BT-A may be candidates for replacing, indeed I intend to top-up LGEN & PHNX this month. Whereas Messrs.VOD are bang on in ‘good but not too high’ yield territory. Should I be worried about any of my 'danger zone' holdings?
