A dividend has today been announced as follows:

https://www.investegate.co.uk/newriver- ... lc%20Alert

Dividend Declaration

NewRiver is pleased to announce that it has declared a second quarterly dividend of 5.4 pence per share in respect of the year ending 31 March 2020. This dividend will be paid as a Property Income Distribution (PID).

The dividend payment date will be 15 November 2019 and the dividend will be paid to shareholders on the register at close of business on 18 October 2019. The ex-dividend date will be 17 October 2019.

Shareholders can receive additional new ordinary shares in the Company instead of their cash dividend, with no dealing charges or stamp duty incurred, under the Company's scrip dividend scheme. To receive the scrip dividend, shareholders need to make an election ahead of the dividend election date on 1 November 2019.

Details of the price at which the new ordinary shares will be issued will be announced via RNS ahead of the dividend election date. Certificates in respect of the new ordinary shares will be despatched on the dividend payment date.

A dividend amount of 5.40p not unexpected in my view as it is the same as the 1st Interim. If the amount is maintained for the 3rd and 4th Interim, it will mean a held dividend of 21.60p for the year. We shall see.

Enjoy!

Ian
