Share price back to June 23, 2016...with a yield of 7.68%. 1886p at close on Friday, down from £28 per share in May 2018. Is now the time to buy/top up?

Does it fit with portfolio diversity, the yield is high, if one thinks the dividend sustainable perhaps, a static dividend for 5/6 years is a blackmark; BP. has increased the dividend a bit but yields a bit less.

I’m toying with topping up my RDSB shares again next month, as I did this month. Of the two oil outfits, I can forgive Shell for their static div, as it’s the higher yield I want to buy. I’ve mentioned a number of times here that I doubled up my holdings in 2016 due to the low sp at that time, and they’re on offer again imho. In keeping with the above comment, I’m happy with my overall exposure to this share and don’t feel that I’m over exposed to it, although that’ll be it for buying their shares after that small top up.

Very difficult to ignore RDSB offering an 8% yield, I will be topping up.

Eventually things will get back to normal assuming a vaccine becomes readily available....companies will want to play catch up on orders ( the CEO wants a bonus). Plenty of overtime for Christmas.... I'm thinking medium term and have topped up RDSB today at 8%.
