Does anyone know, or can point me towards an article, on what's happening with this merger? Are we still getting the return of capital from the Indian tax refund or has that been scrapped due to the merger?
Anyone got any ideas on what the share price is likely to be after the merger? If we're getting 4 Tullow shares for each Capricorn one then at the moment that would be a loss, but is the price likely to rise?
I've had a (thankfully small) holding in Cairn for many years and it's been under water and a serial disappointment for most of that time - would be nice to at least get close to getting my capital back (minus inflation of course). Am I better selling now or hanging on a bit longer?
TIA
