i3 Energy (i3E)
This company has just crossed my radar screen and I'm thinking of having a look at them.
There does not at first glance seem to me much info in the public domain.
Anybody found any relevant material?
I've nothing to offer in return but will be happy to share as and when I get something.

The website as posted above has a fair amount of information.
Shares are quoted on AIM and prices have been volatile. It's an oil explorer.
From the website, two years ago (11Aug 2017) , they closed at 36.50. One year ago (10 Aug 2018), they closed at 116.50. The most recent price is 49.50, having been down to around 35.50 in May 2019.
There's quite a bit about the Company in the Report & Accounts.
3’s shares have continued to trade across a wide range (low of 22.35 pence – high of £1.28) during the course of 2018 and into 2019. Though frustrating for all shareholders, this volatility is representative of an early stage company that is de-risking the elements required to become a successful venture. Share price volatility may continue as we navigate the regulatory and commercial requirements of a UK North Sea operator, source critical contracts within a tightening market, configure funding arrangements to finance operations and appraise, develop and expand our asset base – the only way to genuinely secure long-term shareholder value

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
My short summary :
3 wells.
CoS 90% then 70% then 70%.
Potential to prove up 500MMBO of which 200MMBO recoverable.
If those 3 wells come in then 500p a share is possible.
94 day drilling campaign - going to be exciting.
Spud for the 1st due anytime soon once the rig moves.

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
The plan is :
Drill the pilot hole. This will be used in future to drill 2 or 3 horizontal production wells. This pilot hole is referred to as the "drill center".
Drill the Liberator West appraisal well. This will be logged and sampled and then plugged and abandoned. NOTE NOW - IT WILL BE P&A regardless.
The data from this appraisal well will allow the selection of the directions of the horizontal production wells to be drilled in 2020 from the pilot hole (drill center) being drilled now.
Drill Serenity appraisal, log and sample and then P&A.

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
And maybe not.
Seems the Pilot Well will be only for seismic calibration. Will be P&A. Purely to prove up everything prior to the Senior Debt approval.

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
I believe their target price was 190p back in April for I3E ahead of drilling ?

Canaccord Genuity : North Sea exploration firm is rated top pick 07/10/2019
OIL and gas analysts have rated North Sea-focused i3 Energy as one of their top sector picks ahead of a drilling campaign thatwill be followed with interest in the area.
Canaccord Genuity included Aberdeen-based i3 Energy in a list of smaller exploration and production firms whose share prices could be impacted by potentially game changing developments over the next six months.
Experts at the investment bank noted i3 is expected to complete a three-well campaign on acreage in the Moray Firth the oil and gas firm reckons could contain around 200 million barrels oil equivalent.
Success in the campaign could pave the way tothe development ofthe Liberator find andhelp encourage a badly-needed increase in exploration activity in the UK North Sea..................

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
So we have a new target on the sidetrack and then some days after that we see a new Oil Discharge permit applied for.
Would suggest that, with the sudden buying and share price rises......the original well missed, they did a sidetrack and struck oil and that oil is why they needed the new oil discharge permit.
Jolly good..........now is it a biggie.......

Re: i3 Energy (i3E)
SERENITY STRIKES OIL
Highlights:
-- The Serenity 13/23c-10 well was successfully drilled on the Company's 100% owned Serenity prospect and is an oil discovery, with preliminary well results that are consistent with i3 Energy's pre-drill estimate of 197 MMbbls STOIIP for the entire Serenity closure within the Company's licence area
-- The Liberator 13/23c-9 well findings have now been integrated with recently acquired seismic data, resulting in Liberator remapping as follows:
o Phase I development area to target 63 MMbbls STOIIP via up to 4 wells with the Company's revised expected recoverable reserves of 23 MMbbls
o Phase II prospective area to target 396 MMbbls STOIIP through future exploration drilling
o Liberator findings presentation available today on i3's website at http://www.i3.energy
-- After planned plugging and abandonment of Serenity well 13/23c-10, the Borgland Dolphin semi-submersible rig will mobilise back to the Liberator field to drill a pilot hole at a future development well at the remapped L2 structural high (approximately 500 meters north east of the 13/23c-9 well)
