Mrs C has some AVCs which she is planning to take soon. Likelihood is that she will take a tax-free lump sum and use the rest to buy an annuity. What are the best reliable sites for comparing rates? I have been using this one https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en

Remember that SIPP funds are out of the IHT net and, if a secure income is not essential, it is a great way not only to pass on capital but also to receive dividends and a continuation (one hopes) of capital growth free of CGT.
