Hi
I am aware that it seems that Lloyds are going to have to pay women due due inequality rules. I must say i don’t completely understand it.
However the report said that other institutions would be forced to pay out too. I wonder if this would relate to me.
I was a member of a staff pension scheme from 1978 until 1993 It was contracted out obviously. Being female i was not allowed to join the scheme until i was 24. By that time i had been working there for 6 years wheras my male colleagues could join at a younger age. I worked 20 years in total for this company from 1973 to 1993.
I am already in receipt of my pension.
I wonder if this Lloyds ruling affects me and if so what i can do about it.
Any pensions experts out there?
