Annuity rates

I need to find the annuity rate for a couple both aged 75. Joint life. I actually need the rates for a non-pension annuity but felt this (despite being the pensions board) might be the place where someone with access to annuity rates might answer.

Many thanks for any help.

The OP doesn't explain the purpose of the question. If it's important to get the right answer, I would be wary of assuming that pension annuity terms are a close match for purchase life annuities/non pension annuity terms.

I haven't looked at PLA terms for a while but historically it was a much smaller, less competitive market place than pension annuities, with the only buyers being HNW individuals (who have on average have longer life expectancy) , who are spending their hard earned cash on an entirely voluntary basis (so further self-selecting), and terms were set accordingly.

Tthe tax treatment is different as well.

Sharing pensions have a contact for PLA quotes https://www.sharingpensions.co.uk/annui ... chased.htm although the sample PLA rates quoted elsewhere on the site are badly out of date.
