I can also confirm this is possible, and transfer chunks regularly to my Fidelity SIPP.
It's very straightforward (all online for Fidelity), and I tend to wait until Fidelity have an offer, and then transfer over a chunk.
As an example, Fidelity is currently offering £200 for a £25K SIPP transfer - and I've just initiated a (cash) transfer for that amount (leaving £4k in the SW account)
