Hi All,
I am a member of Holiday inn loyalty scheme.
A couple of weeks ago I booked a room in one of their hotels in April for 2 nights.
At the time I didn't realise I hadn't receved a confirmation email, which I normally do.
This booking was a special rate and therefore non-refundable.
Last Friday I logged into my account and saw that I had 3 upcoming reservations.
When I viewed these, there were 3 separate bookings for the same hotel in April for the same dates.
I immediately contacted Holiday Inn and their response was that as I had booked 3 non refundable rartes I had to pay for them.
Now, there is clearly something wrong weith their website software as it booked 3 rooms whe I only booked one.
Plus I received no confirmation email. So something has gone wrong.
I have been charged all three rooms on my credit card but they are basically saying I have to pay for them.
Is the onus on me to prove their website wrong?
Is there anything I can do to get my money back?
Many Thanks
S.

Try their complaints process
https://www.ihg.com/hotels/gb/en/custom ... eservation
Contact the card company and get them to refund two of the payments?

Thanks Chas.
I've been in touch with my credit card company and filed an issue with the payment taken.
