Following on from the DAK thread I began wrt GBH

i am seeking clarification pon one item...
If a conviction for GBH was soley punished via a fine, does the ONE YEAR period for that conviction to be spent (eg told to (prospective) employers) still stand. Or is it longer because of the grave nature of the offence (as opposed to something society may view as "minor" relatively).
Im not suggestig it shiould be, just asking what the situation actually is. For clarity.
