We've spent the afternoon decanting several gallon whisky bottles of sloe gin, damson gin, blackerry gin, apple vodka and elderberry gin. They've all been delicious except the elderberry gin which is bitter and not particularly pleasant. I'm wading my way through a glass of elderry gin mixed with lemonade and cassis which has at least made it drinkable but I wouldn't want to drink a lot of it. Any suggestions for making it more palatable?
