Top tip for macerating is to wrap the bottle in a towel, pop it in a covered box and place it in the boot of the car for however long. It gets jiggled every time you drive. I was told this when making limoncello.

Currently enjoying Tesco’s Jam Shed Chardonnay. “Rich, toasty & buttery” - yes it is. On the sweet side, but at £6 a bottle, it’s a decent drink.
