Overpriced and over-rated for decades. You're welcome to it.

I prefer Mahi Pinot Noir from New Zealand better and cheaper.

Well we're all entitled to our opinions but this Gevrey Chambertin was the last of our 2005 which was a superb year. We bought it from a small vinyard near Beaune and it's been sitting in the cellar quietly turning into nectar. We didn't pay a fortune for it because we couldn't afford to but this was the last of the two cases we brought home.

Rhyd6, If you enjoy it that is all that matters. You and eboli are both right, you're tastes just differ.

Well done for buying when the price was right and having the patience to wait years for it to be to your liking. I'm afraid I'd have drunk it a long time ago.
