Grape type: Avesso (a new one to me) Vinho Verde
Available from Lidl £8.99
A really interesting Portuguese white - very summer drinking although the alcohol is higher than I’d expected at 13%.
This has a very slight spritz (which normally puts me off) and is fresh with light but pleasing berry fruit tastes. A real bargain.
