I did not know Marston's already owned Brakspear. I like their Oxford Gold.

Ah, Brakspear - ceased to exist about 15 years ago in my opinion - the brewery in Henley was sold for millions and various breweries (Burtonwood, Wychwood) carried on producing Brakspear-branded 'product'

Hmm..here's my first ever post on TMF:

I picked up two pints of Harvey's across the road, Friday, fresh cask, hoppy toffeeness, CTM for supper. Cast my beady gammy eyes on June divis, blood is starting to circulate again, God Save the Queen! What a glorious afternoon.

Regards, Anglophile, Royalist, liberal conservative, Sionist, Beer-lover, and all-around-nice-chap - ask anyone!

Oh don't - I'm on the wagon until next Thursday for various reasons. Should be home by then though, so will start off with something from Salopian (not 'Nephilim' though, otherwise it'll be a short evening)
