I plan to have a good look at the US and NZ beers this year...any suggestions?
I'm in tomorrow for the trade show at noon.
Anyone else going?

Good thing you're going tomorrow because the more interesting American beers go very quickly. Some of the ones I wanted to try last year ran out on the Tuesday evening.
I'd take a look at the Coronado Islander iPA (although it's only in bottle)
Anything from the Brooklyn Brewery
Avoid Sierra Nevada - it's really had its day
Lamplighter Lucid Nonsense
McLellans Benbecula
If GBBF ever get either of the Pliny beers from the Russian River Brewing Company, that will be very special. Dogfish Head and Ninkasi are outstanding too.

Doing some research.
I think I have to try some of this
De Halve Maan Straffe Hendrik Heritage 2015 - Armagnac Oak Aged Ale

Ditto.
My general plan is try and find the styles that you don't often see, particularly in cask. So I'll certainly make a fairly early trip to the US bar for some of their cask imperial stouts and the like, but it will just be a couple of thirds, 10-12% is not good for enjoying the rest of the day! The unfiltered Bernard also caught the eye, as a non-lager drinker.
Must admit, I don't particularly get on with Straffe Henrik and its derivatives.
