How do you easily quote paras from a post, and make comments on the paras individually?
Just hitting the quote button seems to copy the whole post, even if you select a para first.

I just did that by doing this:

Click the "Post Reply" button. This brings up a blank field with the previous posts in that thread below. Highlight whatever you want to quote and click on the relevant "quote" button in that post.

Repeat as necessary, like this:

Only if you use the "Quote" button to open the "POST A REPLY" field instead of using the "Post Reply" button.

You can start by quoting the whole thing, then deleting all but the first point, make your comment then use the "Quote" tags from above the box in which you are composing your reply. You can then cut and paste further points to which you wish to reply, by pasting them between the tags. If you want to quote from more than one source, just go the new post and quote from that. It's then fairly obvious to whom you are replying.
