Around 10.30pm on Thursday I replied to the following post on the "Moved Boards" thread:

I don't have Mod rights here in the BB, but I understand that something inappropriate was said, and as a result the whole thread got deleted. Personally I didn't see what it was at the time and - not having Mod rights here - I can't peek under the covers to spill the beans.

Nevertheless thank you for thanking us all. It is appreciated.

I simply said "Well done Mods" and was looking for a suitable emoji like a 'thumbs up' but there isn't one so I left it at that.

Not sure which of the three words I chose was deemed to be "inappropriate"!

Sorry BD, it was not you as far as I know. Somebody else said something subsequently is my understanding. Apologies for any confusion in my comment below.

Now that the confusion is cleared up my guess is one of the Mods of the BB will probably delete this thread in an hour or so.

I deleted your post BD as I had mistakenly paired it with your other post two higher up the thread which was complaining about moderation and therefore wrongly assumed your post was ironic.. It is now restored as genuine appreciation of mods is a rare thing to be cherished. I will now lock this thread.
