Help! I'm loosing Friends!

I had a large list of Favourite Fools but each time I add a new one to my Friends I loose an existing one

Seems we're only permitted to have a maximum of seven friends here! (shoorly shome mishtake?)

I just added seventeen, so if there is any limit it definitely isn't seven.

With all due respect, you are in the Admin Group so I'd expect that. For some strange reason I seem to have been demoted to the Junior Poster group (was previously in the now non-existent Authorised Users). Clariman is a Junior Poster too - get him to give it a try....

I have tried many times to add an eight friend here ucp.php?i=ucp_zebra&mode=friends but every time I do a former friend gets deleted!

You are in the Registered Users group and no other. 'nuff said!

I've just had a go at setting up friends and got to eight with no trouble.

Now I've just got to work out what setting up friends actually achieves

I'm already a King of posters so I don't think its that. You are in the Junior Posters group as I am. How many friends can you add? Have you tried?

Aha!!! Found it! The limit of 7 friends only happens when adding friends by using my User Control Panel. I've just added an 8th by clicking 'add friend' when viewing the other user's profile. Must be some sort of bug. Will try some more and see how it goes...

I added my eight straight from the Control Panel, in twos and threes but not via other profiles.
