Searching by discussion boards?

Is it possible to search for my name in a specific discussion board? I'm trying to find postings I made from "a while" ago where the period "a while" is very wide!

Yes. Click the cog at the top right of the page ("Advanced search") and stick your username in Search for author and select the board in Search in forums, and then click Search at the bottom. Voila!
